Namco Bandai macht 19,3 Mrd. Yen Verlust
Zum Umsatz von 174 Mrd. Yen steuerte die Content Division 41 Prozent bei.
Namco Bandai hat im ersten Halbjahr 2010 einen Nettoverlust von 1,93 Mrd. Yen (ca. 17,2 Mio. €) gemeldet. Im Vorjahreszeitraum lag der Verlust mit sechs Milliarden Yen (53,4 Mio. €) noch deutlich höher.
Zum Umsatz von 174 Mrd. Yen (ca. 1,55 Mrd. €) steuerte die Content Division, zu denen Spiele, Musik und Videos zählen, 41 Prozent bei.
Das bestverkaufte Spiel war Tekken 6 mit 1,07 verkauften Stück alleine in den USA.
Japan bleibt allerdings Namco Bandais größtes Territorium mit 9,8 Millionen Spielen; gefolgt von den USA mit 7,3 Millionen und Europa mit 3,8 Millionen.
