Starcraft II ist mit 2,3 Millionen illegaler Downloads der vermutlich am meisten raubkopierte Titel aller Zeiten. Die P2P-Seite TorrentFreak berichtet, dass mit 15,77 Petabytes mehr Daten über Bittorrent heruntergeladen wurden als jemals zuvor.
Allerdings geht TorrentFreak davon aus, dass die legalen Downloads sogar noch über der Zahl der Raubkopien liegt.
