Die Aktie von Activision Blizzard rutschte trotz der Rekord-Geschäftsergebnisse um 6,5 Prozent auf 13, 02 Dollar ab. Offensichtlicher Grund war, dass World of Warcraft als führendes Abo-Onlinerollenspiel 800.000 Abonnenten verloren hat.
Nach Bloomberg-Analyse war dies der größte Kursverlust seit dem 10. Februar.
Die Zahl der WoW-Spieler rutschte von 11,1 Millionen auf 10,3 Millionen ab. Laut Activision Blizzard fanden die größten Verluste im chinesischen Markt statt.
