Sony Computer Entertainment hat die Auslieferungsmenge von Uncharted 3 am Veröffentlichungstag mit 3,8 Millionen Exemplaren angegeben.
Dennoch hält Activision das eigene Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 für das erfolgreichste Spiel aller Zeiten am Erscheinungstag, nennt allerdings keine konkreten Zahlen. Analysten von Sterne Agee hatten die Erstauslieferung von Modern Warfare 3 vor Kurzem auf eine Menge zwischen 5,5 bis 6 Millionen Exemplare geschätzt.
