Sony Computer Entertainment hat in London ein massives Software-Lineup aus eigener Produktion zum Europa-Start der PSVita am 22. Februar angekündigt. Das First-Party-Angebot umfasst alleine schon 12 Titel aus eigener Produktion, darunter Uncharted: Golden Abyss, WipEout 2048 und Motorstorm RC. 38 weitere Titel werden von Sony als 3rd-Party-Spiele genannt, die für PSVita in Entwicklung sind, aber nicht ausdrücklich zum Start zugesagt wurden.

Dennoch ist das Line-up im Vergleich zu Nintendos 3DS-Start beeindruckend: Nintendo konnte mit Nintendo cats + dogs und Pilotwings Resort lediglich zwei eigene Titel vorweisen. Mit Lizenznehmerunterstützung bot Nintendo zur Hardwareveröffentlichung insgesamt 13 Spiele an.
