Team 17 hat Vermögensteile von Iguana Entertainment in England erworben und das Gründerduo Jason und Darren Falcus als Studiochef bzw. Business Developement Manager gewonnen.
Team 17 ist durch die Worms-Serie bekannt geworden. Iguana Entertainment gehörte zu Acclaim und war mit Top-Produktionen wie Turok oder NBA Jam bekannt geworden. Das Studio im amerikanischen Austin wurde jedoch bereits im Jahr 2004 aufgelöst.
"Zu Team 17 zu kommen, einem Studio mit einem solchen Erbe großartiger Spiele, die die Leute eindeutig lieben, ist eine spannende Perspektive", sagte Darren Falcus.
