EverQuest: Sony Online lässt Abo-Gebühren fallen
Nach 13 Jahren wird einer der Online-Rollenspielklassiker zum Free2Play-Spiel.
Sony Online Entertainment will anlässlich des dreizehnjährigen Jubiläums das Online-Rollenspiel EverQuest auf ein Free2Play-Modell umstellen. Im März sollen mehrere neue Zahlungsoptionen eingeführt werden.
Neben dem weitzergeführten Abonnements sind auch Mikrotransaktionen geplant, Dabei sind kostenloses Spiel sowie Abos für 5 Dollar sowie 15 Dollar pro Monat vorgesehen.
"Das Spiel wird nun so flexibel aufgebaut sein, dass jeder entscheiden kann, wie viel er zahlt, abhängig davon, wie viel Spaß er haben will, so Producer Thom Terrazas.
